Customer Project: Banderole System

our PROPAC with integrated PROBAND
Less Packaging Material for Multipacks

The Challenge?
The beverage market faces a central problem: shrink-wrap packaging is energy-intensive to produce and generates high material costs. At the same time, it often proves impractical in daily use – films tear easily, making product placement in retail more difficult and transport for end consumers less reliable. A solution was needed that would conserve resources, reduce costs, and provide tangible benefits for producers, retailers, and consumers alike.
Our Solution by project Service & Produktion
The PROBAND HU sets new standards in multipack packaging: instead of shrink film, it uses a high-strength banderole – either made of durable plastic or, for an even more sustainable solution, paper. This creates packaging units that are both stable and flexible, adaptable to your needs: from 2-pack up to 6-pack configurations.
With its modular design, the PROBAND HU provides maximum flexibility. A single banding unit achieves up to 40 packs per minute. If required, an integrated carry-handle applicator supplements the process and, thanks to its higher capacity, ensures a consistently smooth workflow. For growing production volumes, additional modules can easily be added in parallel.
Its compact construction reduces production line length and increases efficiency. The result: lower material consumption, reduced costs, greater sustainability – and improved handling for producers, retailers, and end customers.
